Yep. I really do work online from home, making just enough to supplement our income and have some extra cash on hand. I do the “leg work” for internet marketing for a variety of companies.
Currently, I am marketing one of those difficult to “separate wheat from chaff” work at home websites.
Our vendor (www.work-from-home-job.com) has a warehouse of real companies that want real writers, and other skills. They actually match people with companies.
I’m not going to lie. It has been very difficult to market this site for a lot of reasons, mainly because the web is truly jammed with all types of work from home websites. Also, this site, frankly, is not as dressed up as some of the other sites, so I think people don’t realize that it is an honest one.
Anyway. That’s how I make my money. And, I got to advertise it one more time too!
I have just started this work at home lark too! Still have a few days at the j-o-b but spending many hours getting my businesses off the ground.

I’ll reveal mine.
I’m into serious blogging pretty recently though i’ve been a wahm for over 4 yrs now. I play different roles. A web, graphic and template designer, xhtml & php programmer, biz consultant. I earn more as fee for my services than i make through online sales, major part of which comes from my template e-store.
We cannot limit ourselves to one stream if $6000 is the target. Try one stream at a time and see what works and concentrate on that.
Your question gave food for thought which I will spill on my blog.
